I guess the morning coffee at Porters is off. Everyone is heading straight to the show.  I won't be going this year, more of the same it seems. So if anyone is up for coffee, let me know.

I figured we were still meeting at Porters.

It's not a swap meet, being there first thing won't help.

I need a good breakfast before I handle crappy food, huge crowds and noise.

I'm still up for porters at 9:00.

Guess June and I got our wires crossed a bit and went straight to the show this morning.   All was good and shared lunch and a beverage with Roy, Ross and Shawn.
Got to see a few other members there as well and briefly chat with them including Dave and Carey ( Cariboo BC )
Was getting fairly crowded when we left at 100pm so going early was the right thing to do.

After spending almost 36 hours at the show, I can tell you the best time to see everything you wanted to see would have been after 3 on Sunday, there wasn't 500 people in the joint. You could have sat or looked at whatever you wanted. Tongue

June and  I came looking for you on two occasions Dale and you were not at the Yamaha tent.   I figured you must have been spying at the Kawasaki booth where the other thousands were gathering.    While on the subject does Yamaha still make motorbikes or just pianos lately?    They used to make good bikes in the old days but I guess they have moved on to other new  ventures

You have obviously not heard the sublime crossplane symphony in f-u major in the finely tuned harmonics of the new R1. Or perhaps the staccato rhapsody in revs in c-u minor by young FZ09 has passed your notice.  Meanwhile, I noticed a heavy piggish contraption in green and dark grey at one of the lesser tents that had grown some sort of flimsy wings. Or was that the new Ronco Squid SlicerĀ®? I heard it blows Wink

So where's coffee on Sunday?  We can discuss the Lambourgini Countach styling of the new Kaw H2.

Cheers,
