You will see me coming. I'll be riding one of the largest lumps of polished aluminum ever to ship out of Iwata.

Shiny bits and a cool ride up Sumas Mountain. Thanks to Wing Commander Stan for leading us lost lambs.

So instead of going for coffee, Nico Roy, and I went for a short ride. For me it was 390 miles door to door. Nico on his GL 1100, Roy on his Guzzi 1100, and me on my measly Z1 900.
I road tail end Charlie all day. Roy said that's where Kawasakis belong... at the back.
We left Mission about 8:30. Out Hwy 7 to Hope the up the Coq. Turned off onto Coldwater Road into Merritt.
Picked up lunch at Subway in Merritt for a picnic lunch. Nico who was riding scout all day found a reply nice spot next to the Nicolla River for lunch where we watched an Osprey scoop a 12" trout from the river.
On to Spences Bridge, down the canyon to Hope and back to Mission. A really nice supper and a couple of cold drinks finished off a great day.
Here's a few pics.
Cheers,
Ross

Looks like you guys had a great ride.
When riding with a 'Guzzi and a Goldwing, you should always put the Kawi out front.
That way, he won't get left behind in case of a breakdown.

This was the first really long run for the Z1. Like a well sorted sewing machine, didn't miss a stitch. The Goldwing, as always, like your Gran's old freezer, just purred along. Roy's Guzzi with it's new high tension leads was an Italian stallion.
Not an issue with any of them.
Cheers,
Ross

Haven't been to Ladner in a while. How about there, and Rusty bits can get out on his miss January. John.

Although she was a little cranky from being woken up, she made it home with a little help; thank you every one. Regards Mark
