Let me see the bike was made in late 1979, so that would make them about 35 years old. 

Unfortunately they are a bit of work to replace as you need to dig them out of the coil as they're epoxied in there pretty good from the factory.

Just a thought David, if It was a plug wire they would not Fail all at once. My BET Is the kill switch wiring.

Actually that was my thoughts as well. I have the new plug leads but am going to order dyna coils so I don't have to deal with the epoxy issue. There is a thread on GS Resources on old invisibly cracked plug leads. I'll see if I can find it. I'm not sure but I believe dyna coils are an upgrade as well....

Crap I just realized I have a bald spot on the back of my head!!!
Guess I will have to spend the rest of my life coming rather than going now.
Better go out and look for a rug that wont stick to the top of my helmet.
