Had the camera along yesterday so I thought I'd share a few pics. Gorgeous day, prime breakfast location, adventure aplenty! Let me give the synopsis:

10 minutes train delay within sight of breakfast (rock's throw...really), scaring the locals (not really) at the Sunflower, good coffee, serene, untrafficed ride route down 0 avenue, a stop to watch midget racing (the little track cars, not small people), meeting new bike aficionados, more riding east out Vye road and over Majuba Hill, threats of self immolation (Shawn's gas leak crisis), roadside fix by same member, revenge of road debris (John's sNorton rear tire nail epic) in Vedder, salvation in the form of an old folks home and a fortunate Ford pickup placement, don't need no stinkin bike ramp (5 strapping, literally, club members), a trip to the vaporblasting center of the universe, a true classic ogled and bought at the same center of the biking universe and a finally....an uneventful ride home. GREAT day for all, even John. What say!

Thank you for the pictures and the synopsis.

Nice to see so many Classics together.

You've got a good crew out there.

Thanks for the pics Rob and yes it was a good day indeed.   Now I get to play with my bike in the garage as an added bonus.
Guess it will be the Z1R next weekend while I wait for the spokes and tubes.

Good company to be with.

Lots of strange stuff happens down here on the 'Wet Coast"  Evil and there definitely is safety in numbers.
We actually don't like each other much and we argue a lot ...  kind of loudly too 'cause most of us are hard of hearing and refuse to wear hearing aids.
That's why we are always meeting at different coffee shops.

I thought I better phone CafĂ© Vibrato to see if they were open this Sunday and they are.    We don't need a huge commotion like last year at the Hilltop with everyone arguing, and shouting and jumping up and down in anger.
We don't need to track unwanted attention again to our coffee meetings as the cops are liable to think we have tapped into their doughnut stash and will be watching us like pigeons.

Excellent review, Rob. I missed the ride out to the valley. Had to de-moss the roof and clean gutters. Life gets in the way.

Thanks again Rob, I love your writing style.

Cheers,
Ross

Stan,

Will you be going to coffee tomorrow? If so, will you be driving? I could bring the deep fryer to return to you.

Cheers,
