Stan, yes I can use the deep fryer. But it's no big deal if it's not available.

I'm at the point with the Led Zed where I'll start thinking about doing the motor. I'll finish the front brakes today then check out the wiring. Then it's on to the motor. I got the gasket kit and seal kit in the mail yesterday.

The deep fryer will come in handy at any time. It wont't take long to do the carbs. Although, I'm thinking of doing the carbs on all three of my bikes.

See you Sunday.

Cheers,
Ross

There's some sort of roadworks at schoolhouse and Louheed, we may have to approach from a different direction.

Along the way I caught up to Bruce on a nice old Harley with collector plates so I dragged him along to meet the guys, hopefully he will turn up again.

After coffee being such a nice day for a ride I tootled off up past Simon Frazer around the Barnet and out Ioco Road. Up by the Burard thermal plant I came across about 20 guys hopping around the rocks on those little water cooled bikes. I think they are known as Trial bikes, the object is to negotiate impossible terrain without putting a foot down.
Apparently they have been meeting up there on Sunday for around 30 years. Next weekend will be a day for all the dealers to bring out their latest wares, I was issued an unofficial invite if anyones interested.

That's where Mr. Paul Brodie goes to church every Sunday....instead of having coffee with mortals like us  Smiley. Trials riding looks like it would be fun to try but a little too slow for my tastes. Maybe there's a funky coffee shop out that way (Port Moody, Ioco?) so we could check it out afterwards? Or bring a carafe of Java to the site?

I wonder if there is a coffee shop in Newport village?   That would be a great meeting place and its on the way to Ioco?
There is a Starbucks in Port Moody.   I am trying to think if there is anything around Coquitlam Centre area also as that's close

Okay I am in and sounds like June is ready for a morning ride.     900am?

The Norton should be finished Saturday so will need to give her a good shakedown on Sunday and see what I failed to tighten up.  We can putz about into Belcarra and Buntzen also if time and weather permits or Ice Cream out at Rocky Point.

Many options in that neck of the woods on Sunday.
