Just listened to the first song again, seems like Ross was listening too as he did have a break down.
Broken chain or something.
Did you get home OK Ross?

Thanks for the video, Garth.

Nico and I stopped half way thru the ride.  I'd felt a few "chunks" thru the foot pegs and decided to stop and check it out.  Good thing I did.  Hd lost the clip and outer link link from the drive chain master link.  The main part of the master link was starting to bend.  This slightly wider space in the link was causing the "chunk" when it didn't quite mesh with the sprockets.  Called my wife and she was kind enough to bring out another master link.

Got home OK.  Only one person (even among many bikers) stopped to ask if we need help.  He was riding a Harley.  Nico asked him, "since you're riding a Harley, do you happen to have any tie-wire?"  He just said "No", and rode off.  I guess he didn't appreciate Nico's sense of humour.

Cheers,
Ross

Hey Ross:

A little dab of silicon over a cleaned up master link and clip will stop the clip from going AWOL.   I've lost the clips a few time before (and yes, they were correctly installed) but never since using some silicon to secure.

I will probably not be at coffee.  The weather is supposed to be good.  I'm taking the bike and going camping.  Roy will probably be joining me, we'll have a discussion about it later this evening.  I'm thinking of heading up to Tulameen, never been there.

Cheers,
Ross

So, Roy and I won't be at coffee Sunday.  We're going camping.  Anyone else interested?

Stan......  you should know where" there is" ?  Even people who have not come to coffee seem to know instinctively where " there is " from reading the posts.
I will betcha its by " dat place over there " or close by.
We have missed a couple weeks with camping and flower swap meets so the both of us need to get caught up and meet one or two new people this weekend.  June sure likes those Okanagan guys though  so might have to split our weekends with them at some point and take in their Saturday coffees.  Seems like they even get mixed up on whos coming to "dat place" on Saturdays from reading their posts.   Special thanks once again to Bear and Bofud for your hospitality.
