We’re in Puerto Vallarta.  Los Tules resort condos.  Takes about an hour to walk to the old town.  It takes me almost an hour to walk from my house near RCH to the library uptown  ew Westminster. 

Best to walk to Old Town in the morning.  By afternoon it’s really hot and I get too drunk by the time I get back to the condo, having stopped several times to cool off with a margarita.  Swim every day in the ocean and swimming pool (there are eight pools on the property).  I’m hoping the neighbours help our house sitter shovel the walks.  And hoping the rain has melted it by the time we return.

I don't believe I have Covid, at least last Sunday I tested Negative however an elderly woman in our building came down with Omicron, we had not had any contact with her., should be fine for the following week.
I'm feeling a bit S#*tty as the result of a surgical procedure on Thursday so I will sit this one out.
Hopefully I will see you on the 16th, play safe everybody,

June and I are back up here in the deep freeze watching the ducks skating in the lake and the fishermen fishing from huts with some sort of concoction in green bottles to keep them warm.

Some desert this is.

   I'll be mtn biking today to check out the carnage in Stanley Park, from the king tide [global warming is now responsible for the gravitational effects of the earth, moon, and sun in alignment, pretty impressive claims you tree huggers out there] . If I ever move away from "metro", I will surely miss this aspect of winter abilities.

We were surprised how quickly Osoyoos Lake froze across, as viewed on the local Global news every evening.

Went there (in old town) after brunch today after hiking up to The Cross.  Place was packed.  Didn’t at all feel Covid comfortable.  They have several outlets around.  There’s one that has big pizza ovens as well only 1.6 km from our resort.  Will get there one day this week.
