No, cow patties are mainly crap.   The bug sugars are also an end product of digestion, but not so, uh, crappy.

Soon as y'all get over this., you might be ready to try ADV bikes.....

There were 4-5 ADV units there.

My whole point was.. not everyone is ready for the things that occur on an adventure..
I assume the ADV bike.... may at one point actually be used on an adventure.... might have to deal with bugs ..often a part of it..

Bugs are one thing.  Bug shi*t literally falling like drizzling rain is quite another.

I remember a ride from El Paso to SanDiego..  left i think around 9 am.. was having breakfast next morning in San Diego.
Was riding  thru I think El Centro CA.  I think there had been a big storm and water was standing along side of the  roads in the fields.
So it was night time, and it was very hot and sticky....everything felt sticky, and smelled a bit off.. it stayed like that a while till I got out of the area.
I dont know if it was crops rotting in the fields or wbat.. but you could sure feel it..
So no,  I did not park there and let it accumulate... lol..

I found it August 16 , 1977  tropical storm Doreen, which had been a hurricane..., hit the El Centro valley , flooded all the crops., ruined everything.
I pulled over to sleep somewhere past there, at a place that must have been hit by a severe flash flood, there was sand everwhere all over streets and what had been yards., i could tell by the chimneys that were left standing from a few houses, not really much of  anything else left.
Got up at daybreak and continued on.. saw railway tracks hanging in the air, 3 or 4ft off the ground and a nearby road washed away..
I did get a pic of that and the chimneys where I slept.. I think I can actually find them.
Man a lot of damage in that area..
August 16 was also the day Elvis died, i remember being in El Paso  when i heard that, i think i keft for San Diego arond 4 days later..
Great trip 3 or 4 weeks on the road.. except the rain in Colorado sucked, i hit around 5 or 6 passes 11,000 feet and higher in a few days but  quite rainy.

I’m bringing 3 Italian pumper carbs tomorrow, so the bloody skeeters have no chance. Rabbits will pass out, neighbors will call the police, Tesla owners will offer furrowed brows, will vomit at my condescending grin, generally a very unhealthy situation . Can’t wait

I can host this coming Sunday, I'll have the MotoGP race from Austria showing.

You can show up anytime after 8:30 AM

I need 1 person to volunteer to bring a box of coffee.

Thanks.

David.
