A great venue for these Covert days Ross, well attended.
The new guy Wynk has a Kawasaki, we may have to put a limit on how many cylinders you can have.
Oops, Kurts new bike has 6
Can't have them taking over from the Geese lol

Yes that is a very good venue even with all of the geese attending. Ross and I will have to weed out a few more Kawasaki clan as we are dwindling lately.
Many thanks to those that brought the coffee and donuts this morning and great to see a good turnout for coffee.
Thanks everyone.

Yes, nice little gathering and location considering bat flu lockdown. Glad I'm not the only one adorned with 3 months-helmet head hair. Well done! I think we made a few joggers, pedal bikers, et-al nervous. It's too bad we couldn't park on the grass, nearer the coffee and donuts at the tables. We may want to consider parking a bit farther up the hill so we don't garner the wrath of New West Parks Polizia.
BTW, Kurt, the metallic red Gold Wing, I highly approve!!

Most of us, with a couple of exceptions, (Kurt), would fit between the bollards and could park on the grass. Not likely the park natzis would bother us on a Sunday morning. The only person that might be able to produce any sanctions would be the guy that unlocks the bathroom. But ya, we could park a little higher up in the main parking area rather than spread along the roadway.

I found a really nice park for a sunny Sunday coffee meet.
McDonald Park. It’s at the north end of No. 3 road, on the Sumas River, out towards the Wack. Beautiful setting, tons of space, picnic tables, picnic shelter, huge grassy area even that we could take over (just for Steve).
Bring your own coffee or the Tim Hortons at Sumas isn’t far away for a traveller box of coffee and a box of dognuts.
Just a thought, check it out off you get a chance.

Ya Dave, that’s the one. Would be a nice morning ride from town. Out through Ft. Langley and around Sumas Mt.

Another good spot could be Deas Island park, in Delta, off River rd. Lots of parking, picnic tables to sit at with a view across the river. Think of this one as well.

We could fry up some carp for breakfast.
I thinks I've still got some dynamite and blasting caps somewhere in my shop.

Notwithstanding the explosives, these are great ideas in these unique times. Fair weather days of course. Great way to combine a ride, explore our area, and connect & socialize. And a cool way for our coffee meets to evolve. The same coffee shops over and over was getting a bit stale, okay in winter but having coffee meets outdoors in parks in summer might be more appealing.

Going for a ride and having a nice cold beer is pretty appealing.
Better if there is a nice viewpoint or scenery..
I don't condone drinking and riding, but everybody should know their limits, and moderation is the key here. .
Besides, I drink to make other people more interesting...

I used to love a three beer buzz and go for a ride. Nowadays I only have a beer if I’m close to home. If I’m on a day ride I don’t dare have a beer at lunch, I’ll fall asleep behind the handlebars.
