I got a new bionic eye yesterday, I was surprised that the Hospital was still open for elective surgery, I don't intend to be at coffee on Sunday, but lets make sure this China Virus is not the end of our little group, we can still ride together and meet for coffee again when things settle down.
Cheers
Roy

Absolutely.  Doesn’t mean we can’t or shouldn’t meet.  Just that restaurants or coffee shops may not be the best idea, too many variables.    Get out.  Ride bikes, motorcycles, go for a walk with friends and family.  Wash your hands before you hand your friends a beer, wash them again before you put away the empties, wash them again before you set the table....  This afternoon will be an nice day for a ride.

This is bad thinking. This situation absolutely means you shouldn’t meet people in person. Breathing is all that needs to be done to pass the virus along or to catch it, keep that in mind when you think about meeting in person.

I stand corrected.

I would nt say its bad. .by Thursday everybody be going crazy..
And its way safer going to small gathering of PEOPLE You know and TRUST, than meeting in a public venue.
And if someone finds out the next day they have something, we can get the news passed on to us swiftly..
You could easily say riding bikes on street is bad thinking, but most of us are willing to die like men... Shocked

Just limiting exposure to far far less people in a day is already a step in the right direction.

What are we going to do this Sunday, A couple of ideas
A ride with no coffee gathering
Several smaller groups meeting in social isolation
There must be something we can do?

Bob and I went for a ride and picnic lunch today keeping our 2 meter distance.

Looks like an excuse for another topic:  Where did you self-isolate with your bike today?

Could practice social isolation together.  Pack picnic lunches, meet at a park somewhere, sit on opposite sides of picnic tables.  Still able to tell lies about how fast we used to be.  Open to suggestions about location.
