June and I will probably go straight to VIV as we have company here Saturday night so will have to wing it Sunday morning.

I'm actually a bit concerned about the weather on Sunday.

Weather forecasts up here in the hinterland look great for Sunday.  But we all know that could change in an instant down your way.  I'm going to plan on leaving here around 8 am, ride the secondary roads as much as possible then spend 3 or 4 hours  at the park, then head home before dark.  Too many critters and fallen objects on the roads at night.  Hope to see a few of you there.

On Saturday morning I went to an Italian Cafe "Cafe Artigano" on Hastings, it has plenty of seating and street parking outside.
It is one block West of Willingdon on Hastings.

Anybody want to try this one?

Lets hold on this location for this weekend at least.

I'm going to check out the place Kurt suggested, little beetle. Close to the event. Not sure if it will be 2 or 4 wheels yet, morning will be decision time, showers in forecast.

Little Beetle is a great place. Good coffee and food. Just had lunch there. Breakfast all day.

I went out that way on Saturday afternoon, the motorway was stop and go traffic until Abbotsford, I think it may have been the Sunflower festival causing it, I'm guessing it will be the same on Sunday.

I think I will leave a bit earlier and go Via Ft Langley and Sumas mountain.

The eastbound Hwy 1 Saturday/Sunday morning exodus is as normal as Sunday nights return exodus return back into ‘metro ‘.  My experience is that Sunday mornings east exodus is much less. Sunday late afternoon westbound traffic will definitely catch VIV attendees off guard who do not regularly travel east of 200th street.

Somewhere in Langley or maybe Lepp Farms, Abbotsford as I'm going to the motorcycle races at Mission afterwards.

33955 Clayburn Road
Abbotsford, BC, V2S 7Z1
(At the Corner of Abbotsford/Mission Hwy)
