Did you fellas want to come over here to my garage this Sunday?  If so bring your electrical skills with you and we can fire up the Norton.    Address again is 12394 221 street in Maple Ridge and weather looking good.

Just one further note,  June will be downtown doing a walk/run on Sunday so if any of the wives plan on attending she will not be here to host you although everyone is always welcome at our house.

Thank you for all that attended today and it was a good turnout.   Special thanks to the gang that put the spark back in my Norton and gave me some inner peace knowing it will be back on the road shortly.  Looks like I will be taking muffins to work tomorrow to share with the staff.

Thanks for hosting, John. Fantastic morning for a ride. Unfortunately, after coffee I was stuck in my basement working on renovation phase 2.

Yes thanks for hosting John. Watching Shaun go through the wiring harness, got me supercharged. Went home, tackled my wiring issue on my Bumblebee [found it, a simple eye connector cracked], and spooned on a new rear tire on my XR650. Hint,,,,,get the tire hot, in the sun, it's much easier to spoon on.  Finished up, jumped on my 1200GS and rode to Squamish. Funny how one treats weekends like it's your last one, when you have to work for a living?

Ugh..

That means my last weekend was spent dealing with dodgy British electrics, painting my garage door and mowing the lawn.

Clearly, I'm a wild man.

Okay special thanks to everyone that helped me on Sunday and good news is she fired on both cylinders and idled away for 10 minutes without a stall or cut in electrics last night so the bugs are gone and Kurt can keep his bottle of smoke.
Heading to ICBC and putting a plate on the Norton once again.
Very good feeling!

Glad to hear it.

Sorry I haven't had a chance to get out there and tidy up your electrical a bit, my week has been nuts.

No problem at all Shawn, been busy myself this week as we just purchased a trucking company that is double our size.
I am comfortable cleaning up and reconnecting the wiring now that she runs so a couple hundred feet of electrical tape and some shrink tubes and I am good to go.    It will be fun to get her out again and the year is still new so hope to put a ton of miles on it this year.
Finishing the XLCR is next on the list and no wiring troubles to deal with so will be a piece of cake!
