Yup they’re open again and seem to be doing well. See you tomorrow Shawn. I have something I could use your help and advice with.

Ok Kurt, don’t freak out. I know it’s only Wednesday. I’m suggesting coffee at my place this Sunday.

I’ve got the Led Zed apart for maintenance. Getting ready for the season. Planning a few trips. New tires and discs so the wheel are off. Thought I’d dismantle the steering head to re-grease the bearings. While the steering head is apart I figured I’d try to get the steering lock fixed. Upon inspection it’s apparent that the lock pin is sheared off. Now, I have another frame that I can steal the lock from, but I have no key for that one so I can’t get it out.

So Dave has offered to help out with the lock and suggested coffee at my place on Sunday. I’m down with that.

Anyway, I got the tires on the wheels today. Waiting for the turned rear disc and steering lock repair for reassembly of the bike. The place is a mess ‘cause we’re starting more house renovations (drywall stacked in the garage), but I have a couple of days to clean up.

You guys can come over and criticize. See you all Sunday.

Thanks Peter. There’s a Starbucks on E. Columbia right by my house across from Cap’s Cycle. I’ll try to run out a bit early and get some doughnuts.

Had a pretty good coffee meet yesterday. Thanks to Dave for his locksmith skills, Shawn for turning my brake rotors, and Peter for turning a new steering lock pin. And thanks very much to everyone who brought coffee, doughnuts, cinnamon buns, and muffins etc. It was lots of fun. Thanks again guys.

Thanks for hosting Ross. Always good to see what's going on in some one else's garage.  John.

For coffee tomorrow, how about Rocco’s Deli in Coquitlam?  They open at 9:00 on weekends.

In the mall north of the theatres.
1-228 Schoolhouse Rd.

Still snow and ice in my lane. Won’t be riding likely.

How did this turn out?

I was hoping they would open early again, we had some good meets there

I was quite good. I think there were twelve of us. Filled one long table.

Yup, they open at 9:00 on Sundays again.
