Youtube keeps kicking out on me..
Cuzzin, were you around when Dave was at Slacks ?
Got him to sign a wheelie poster I had found that morning, it said Frank, dont try this...or similar lol.. Got his big signed book of pics
He did a centerfold after he was here featuring a KVR tunnel above Naramata, and the south end of the lake....when I first saw it I got this eerie feeling like I saw it before, then looking at the elements of the picture , I knew it had to be there..

    Frank, I love you Bro.

...you have been to the sacred salt flats, you know Roger, and have met and have a real autograph from, what I believe is, like Roger, a Legend in the motorcycling world. I have MANY Mann centerfolds, from decades of Easyrider magazines, stashed in one of my many bike stuff areas around my home.  ...and I have carted them around for ever..   ..have never really been a Easyrider magazine fan, but always a HUGE David Mann fan.

...I need to have coffee with you more frequently Mr 754.

...what other motorcycle history and magic lurks in your world ?...

   Proud to know you Frank.

Hey did you see the high mounted boards ?. Frisco style lol..
Pretty cool bike , but the handle bars and grips are a bit cartoonish..
Would be a cool afternoon going to someplace and seeing all those together..

Said to one of my kids yesterday, showing a few pics of those bikes.. I said that was what we grew up with, we were in the middle of it, and lived it... A very cool time. Had a whole wall plastered with feature bikes. And not one but three or more times a month the new mag would come at the Dirty Book Store.... Aka DBS. And there was much rejoicing.. Inspecting every minute detail of the latest bikes in CHOPPER, BIG BIKE, STREET CHOPPER, SUPERCYCLE, EASYRIDER, and even more..

And it was not all about money in them days, many people built their own. Most builds were not high dollar, and most stuff was made in USA, or maybe Canada. Rich people hardly ever were into bikes, and if they were they tried to fit in, unlike today. And when you went somewhere like Sturgis, you rode your bike and a very minute few would trailer, and or take a motorhome... And we would laugh at them..

And if you had 12 or 15 grand into a bike, it was hard to believe!! Now that gets you two wheels and a frame....maybe..

Man I miss those days....  Now I am going to get depressed.. WTF happened to our world Cuzzin Gerry ?

PS ..Good Thing DocV came along.....

Chicks twenty years younger were called little girls, and you usually did not talk to them unless someone you were with was a relative.. RD
Grin think you meant teen and 20,s chicks..  Remember when the knockers and hair was natural.. Before hair xtensions.

Chrome was real too, now you can wrap a whole car in fuaxchrome!
I think one of the first FauxChrome things I saw was the sidepanels on the later 1000 Kawi LTD, the injected one, with chrome engine covers.. I think a first. For Japan..

Used to be a big deal to have chrome aluminum on your bike........

Well, in looking through Dave Mann's art, it seems that there were a lot of 40 year-old guys with 20 year-old women.......but the guys were still thin, and had hair......must be before computer games..... Shocked

He drew Harleys for Easy Rider, so you probably wouldn't know of him, me either.
