I'm always amazed at what is under a cover outback. A 83 ELR was just sold in Clearwater a month ago, 13 years in an old shed...

Ya gotta have trees at the right spacing. They’re freekin uncomfortable for any length of time folded up like a taco. The bugs eat you all night long. Difficult to get in and out of. Any gear you store outside get damp and dirty. A motorcycle bigger than a 125 ain’t gonna fit under the rain fly.
A good two person pack tent with two vestibules and a good quality air mattress takes up the same space as that hammock setup. You stay dry and bug free. You can store all your gear inside the tent with you. Almost as comfortable as sleeping at home. Not all that difficult to get in an out of when you have to get up in the middle of the night to go pee.

A fellow I used to work with Moto camps a lot with his wife. They share a hammock, they slept head to feet, so I’m
Thinking stinky feet smell all night. Plus you need trees.
I’ve got 2 tents . For one night tenting my Asolo Twin works best. Anything longer than one night I have the Redverz Atacama Solo, which allows me to easily park my bike inside, and full standup dressing room, separate storage for gear, room for 2 sleeping, and 4 exits.
