Thanks for posting the videos Steve.  I'm interested in tires at the moment.  By end of next season I'll be looking for tires for my MTT09.  Not that date of manufacture will likely be an issue in this case.  But it's nice to see a sort of definitive opinion on tire age vis a vis safety/performance.

I've recently seen couple of Ryan's (Fortnine) videos on tires.  He talks about carcass construction, rubber compounds, tread pattern, profile, etc.  He does a pretty good job explaining stuff but I still find it all quite bewildering.

In any case, I'll make a decision at the end of next season.

Enjoyed the trip video and I have done the CT90 rebuild a couple of times. Other than a few specific sockets it went really well and I have a 1981 CT 90 coming up soon myself as I want one for myself. Perfectly rideable little machines and they go just about anywhere, not fast but anywhere.
