Pegdtag, buddy!  Long time no hear. Looking forward to meeting up soon

Got out of hospital today and now to work on recovery. I was in 22 days because of complications but free now.

Good news Frank and now the healing begins.    June and I are hoping to cross paths somewhere this summer,  until then please look after yourself.   As much as we like to be critical of your medical system they do seem to spit most of us back into circulation even if we are a little more frail afterwards.

Great to hear you’re back home Frank.  Lately I’ve been thinking about the cost of running the site.  Surely we (as a group) must be owing someone some money.  Can you enlighten us?

Also, I’m wondering about the complexity and additional cost of upgrading the site so that pictures are more easily uploaded.  I’ve given up on posting pictures.

Cheers,
Ross

YEAH, the photo thing has been bothering me for a year or two.  I 'used' to be able to send out two or three photos with my posting, but rarely can even get one to be successfully sent in recent times.  In recent times I've been using photos taken with my "I" Phone. I wonder if that's the issue?

I’m also on the SOHC forum.  They also use a “simple machines” forum website.  But it’s much better.  You still post pictures the same way, but you don’t have to re-size and you can post many at a time.  I’m guessing they pay more.

I belong to many motorcycle based Facebook groups. Yeah it’s easy, but it has definite limitations, to lack of available format categorization that we see here, plus, often ridiculous unanimous Facebook police that can and do ‘eliminate ‘ you , or even prevent you from joining in the first place,,,,,for no apparent reason. Other than swearing, and threatening behaviour, you are free to bring up most subjects here.

I watched BC Sportbikes Forum go from  a huge presence to mostly now AI advertising disguised as a person asking a question. Most of the former people on the forum left because of this, and because of a change of ownership which brought  huge advertising‘bumps’ which were early AI intrusiveness. Most former BCSB residents went to the various Facebook groups, but nothing replaced BCSB and, it’s all fragmented now.

It’s only the inability to easily download pictures .  Everything else about this forum,,,including the residents, is great!

He said something about Zuckerberg's mom having soft hands.

I dunno.  Honestly.  During the pandemic, I tried setting up a facebook account.  After I pressed the last key to enrol, a screen came up that I was banned, would I like to appeal?  Yes, I would like to appeal.  Check back in 24 hours.  I checked back next day.  Apparently l’m an evil person and told I am banned for life.

I suspect it’s because of all of the controversial things that I post on this site.  At that time, my social media footprint consisted KZRider from about 2008 to 2013, and BCCMC up until the present.

I suspect it has something to Do with someone with exactly your name who has affiliation with a bad ‘thing’ or people who
Have done  bad things. Heck, I’m banned for life off of ADV, and that forum has a special section to get nasty!
