Just about finished the free Moto Guzzi engine assembly,valve covers on, starting to put the flywheel and clutch on,thinking about installing the engine in the frame, then noticed that the cylinders were on backwards. That is right, carbs facing front and exhaust facing rear. I think I have some taking apart in my future.

  I guess it depends if you plan on using for drag race purposes. That ran air works good I hear.

After vapourblasting a set of Z1 cases I put the cylinder block on the cases and the head on the cylinder block.  The cylinder block was backwards.  I still have a photo I proudly took of the bright shiny engine.
