What is the deal with bungee nets these days?  The last several I bought turned into limp noodles after only a few uses - my guess is they're all made of Chinesium these days.  There was a time when these nets were made of larger gauge bungee cord and lasted years.    Where do you guys get your bungee nets?  Anyone ever made their own (there must be a YouTube video on how to do it)?

I’ve almost lost gear 3-4 times. Never use bungee nets since then.
