Someone on another forum said: "There's nothing wrong with wanting to be successful but it would be nice if you didn't kick your friend in the teeth to do it".

This move,,,,after India dropped long standing 50% tariffs U.S. made motorcycles faced when entering India down to 40% in late February, in an attempt to circumvent warned U.S. import tariffs on Royal Enfields entering USA.

So today is the day Trump announces his tariffs on the rest of the world.  So far the effect has added zero to his treasury but cost a heck of a lot of good will.  Personally I no longer buy US made products.  Last week I bought a new gas insert fireplace MADE IN CANADA!!  In honour of Trump's tariff day I found this song on the internet.

Herb Alpert was one of my favourite entertainers in the 60's.

This song was first performed live in the late 60's.  It's a story of a guy who wants to take a train but keeps screwing things up by going too early, forgetting his ticket etc.  It's a bit of a comedy of errors.

Our buddy Murry at Modern Motorcycles used to resurface rotors.  Not sure if that's still the case or not.

My experience with motorcycle rotors generally it is understood that there’s not much material on them to get the opportunity to “clean it up” and still be within minimum thickness.

Rotors on modern bikes are much thinner than older ones, 4.5mm vs 7mm.

Music today, 2025, almost all facets and demographics , is nothing more than sewer floatsom . Utter rubbish. Throw in the virtue signalling, demonization of western basic values which built the 1st world, and todays “awards shows” are very much thievery of oxygen and electricity.
