I also agree fairness is fairness. The questions I have are this. What was Canada's tariff on steel and aluminum before Trump imposed a 25% tariff? What was Canada's tariff on autos and auto parts? What was Canada's tariff on oil, natural gas or potash? Trump complains about a high tariff on US dairy but he fails to mention that US dairy is heavily subsidized and has a tariff on imports of 71 cents per liter. He also fails to mention that the US has a tariff free quota into the Canadian market that they have never ever filled. |
