Title: Motorcycle Engine Oil Sources 2024
Post by: Steve G. on September 26, 2024, 07:07:54 PM

A forum general question.  I recently stopped by Cdn Tire to pickup bicycle parts for a pedal bike ‘incident’ I had, and thought I’d grab a couple litres of 20w-50 non synthetic motorcycle oil (JASO MA2) for 2 of my bikes. I was ALARMED at the cost of  $15/US quart!!

Just wondering what your sources are for your particular oil??

Just picked up some Castrol MC 10/40 at Walmart, 13.50 I think.

Not that many years back it was 7-8 $$

Canadian Tire doesn't really sell bicycle parts either.

They just sell stuff that may or may not work on the bicycle-shaped-objects they sell.

Very true Shaun.   I ripped my warning bell off my handlebar when I rear ended a Tesla 3 weeks ago. Went online. Cdn tire has a bunch of different ones, 1/2 the price of bicycle shops.
