I too was wondering if anyone s heading to Sprockets for lunch.  I have a rider friend up from the coast and we were thinking of a ride over that way.

I'm thinking of joining in. The bike is finally running and it might be nice to finish that ride.

Trust it was a good ride and lunch. Thought about joining but a bit far to ask my wife for a lift. Still not up to very much yet. Was hoping to be much better by now and working hard at it. The doctors are sending me off for a new round of tests and drug therapies in the next few weeks so we will see where things get from there.

Was a real nice ride and there was 9 of us and even Kurt from Chilliwack who I have never met before joined us at sprockets for lunch on his Goldwing.

My memory failed me.  I was busy pulling the water pump out of my RV (It froze last winter and the casing broke) and lost track of time.  It was 1 pm when I looked at my watch and realized I'd missed the lunch.  Great day for a ride though!

As for the pump...I had to order a new one.  Thinking of installing it in a different location, easier to access, as it was really tough to remove from where it was located.

I always run antifreeze through all my lines and have never had that problem. Do you blow your lines out?

Bill,  we also blow our lines out with air at then end of each season on our RV

Frank hope you are healing well so you can get riding again.

Yeah, I blew them out really well I thought.  I drained the HW tank.  I also ran antifreeze through the sinks to clean out the p traps.  Turns out the pump is OK but the strainer had enough residual water in it to freeze and crack.  So now I have a spare pump.

In the past I've added anti freeze to the main water tank and filled all the lines by running taps, but I got away from that several years ago when I acquired an adaptor for my shop compressor to hook up to the water system.  But that method is messy in the spring because you need to flush your main tank several times to clean out the antifreeze.  I guess I'll have to go back to that for future storage.

I know most people from the coast blow them out but our temps in the interior get much colder. I have never had it get into my water tank but did in the hot water tank if I didn't switch the by pass valve. I bought a motorhome in Alberta that they said had the lines blown out and one froze under the floor and I had to rip out the floor to replace the line.

And we had that cold snap last fall.  That's probably when it happened.

My fault!  Now I'm paying for doing a poor job last fall.
