Title: Re: 1983 Suzuki GS1100E $3000, Richmond Post by: Steve G. on May 03, 2024, 08:27:29 AM Yes, that is the same bike . I don’t see “rebuilt status” anywhere in the advertisement. With that in mind, I consider this a great deal. Of course, buying any machine, one should check status of it. Title: Re: 1983 Suzuki GS1100E $3000, Richmond Post by: kilowop on May 03, 2024, 10:24:46 AM AWESOME BIKES. I rode one once and scared the hell out of me and I was used to the earlier 1100's. One of the best looking bikes of that era.
Title: Re: 1983 Suzuki GS1100E $3000, Richmond Post by: Steve G. on May 03, 2024, 10:28:22 AM I actually prefer the look of the square headlight 1981 GS1100E, and I'm not a square headlight kinda person. I think it's the visual "one piece" tank/side cover thing that I'm just not into. Great bike though. Title: Re: 1983 Suzuki GS1100E $3000, Richmond Post by: Hayabuser on May 03, 2024, 02:38:01 PM I spoke to the seller in length about it, he told me that it has rebuilt status but didn't know why and when. He bought it as a Covid project and has $2000 in receipts for the work that he did. It sounds like a great bike if you're not averse to owning a bike with a rebuilt title... unfortunately for me, I am.
