Title: Last ride of the season Post by: kilowop on October 14, 2023, 08:15:44 AM Took the new addition to the stable for a ride Friday, on a Temporary Plate as the insurance ran out on Thursday. I managed to get it up to 1055 kms. It's now officially broken-in. Initial impressions.....A VERY REAL CONTRAST to my Collector plated '81 Suzuki 550. Clutch take-up is very smooth. Transmission shifts easily. Lots of power in the low and mid-range RPM's. I have yet to take it to red line during the break-in phase, so that will have to wait until next spring. YEE-HAW !! The handling is good, brakes are good, suspension is good. I have a few mods to do over the winter to personalize it, and keep me out of the sleazy bars. Little RED is still insured until the end of the month so I may yet get in a few rides on it. Lets try for a few lunch meets over the winter.
