Are we doing Falkland on Saturday?  Henry was going to check with the former Ranch, as it's changed hands and he's not sure they still do breakfast.

If the weather holds for Saturday breakfast in Falkland, I'll try to make it there on the bike. Haven't been abused by your bunch for many months.

Rode into River City yesterday.  Boy, has that place changed!  Not sure that I like it though...seems very focussed on dirt bikes.  Anyway, I picked up a set of highway pegs and will install them today.  Then we rode out to Dreamcycle, as it is open.  Had lunch and a piece of pie!  Talked to Mark.  He said has was busy all winter restoring some new bikes and has some adventure tours lined up for later this summer.  Next trip I plan to go through the museum again.

Runningdog and I are planning a short two wheeled run towards Penticton tomorrow (Saturday).  Leaving the Mobil/President's Choice gas station in West Kelowna at 8:15 am.  Just a short run down to Penticton and back.
If anybody in the area wanted to join - we depart at 8:15 sharp.

I need to get the starter replaced in my truck, otherwise I'd be right there. Need the cool of the morning.

There should be a motorcycle outing organized in order to take advantage of the current fall mild weather.

Kamloops contingent out for this meet-up. Too many, doing too much, to be able to spare the time.  Being a grumpy single old bugger does have it's advantages. If I feel up to it, I'll take a ride in the vicinity.

Nice ride out.  Took Hwy 97.  Traffic was sparse but there were a few bikes on the roads.  The golf course restaurant is pretty good.  Lots of people out golfing.  The ride back was like the ride out.  Stopped for gas at the Petrocan and ran into a couple out on their bikes.  There were a few at the Falkland hotel but not nearly as many as usual.  I think this weekend will cause people to get the itch.

Oh..and great company at the restaurant!
