The bike is a 1983 Honda VT750C Shadow. This was the first year of the
Shadow line and featured an impressive list of featured aimed at giving
the rider the utmost in reliability to allow riding rather than
wrenching.

 Highlights include but not limited to:

        45 degree V-twin with 3 valves and dual
spark plugs per cylinder, hydraulic valve adjusters, electronic ignition
and a split clutch to cut down on rear-wheel lock-up when gearing down
rapidly (also makes it harder to bump-start).
